1.\u00a0 All event fees will be $90 (rough stock\/timed events) see rule book for breakdown
2.\u00a0 $10.00 assessment fee per entry to be used ONLY with added money at the finals.

1.\u00a0 Fees for team roping will be $100 single run\/$200 team
2.\u00a0 Timed events will be $90 -(breakdown in rule book for fee changes)
3.\u00a0 Rodeo count will be “7” TSRA first rodeos for 2026
4.\u00a0 Ranch Broncs – each contestant must supply his own saddle.\u00a0 No sharing if entered in same performance.\u00a0 (See rule book)
5.\u00a0 TSRA stock contractors\/Producers\/Committees must provide a minimum of
$1 million liability insurance for each TSRA Approved Rodeo. (See Rule Book)
6. Mississippi will be scheduling some 2 day rodeos this year.
8.\u00a0 Deletion of Rule1 under ground money.\u00a0 \u00a0Ground money will be paid at finals.
9,\u00a0 Deletion of Rule 1 of vet releases\/doctor – There will be no acceptance of vet releases\/doctor excuses if you draw out or no show at a rodeo.\u00a0 Fines plus fees will be due.
10.\u00a0 Barrier changes will read:\u00a0 The length of the barrier will be decided according to the length of box, arena size, and condition of cattle.\u00a0 -see rule book

Board Rule Changes for 2025
1.\u00a0 Entry fees will be increased to $85.00 (cr, baw, sw, gbr, br)

The increase of $5.00 is for stock charges since cattle charges have gone up.\u00a0 Barrel racers will continue to pay $11 timers fee.\u00a0\u00a0
2.\u00a0 Barriers will be changed in tie down, breakaway, and team roping.\u00a0\u00a0
3.\u00a0 Rodeo count will be “<\/em><\/strong>7″ (seven) TSRA rodeos<\/em> for 2025
4.\u00a0 Other minor changes for typo’s or clarifications to the rule book were made.\u00a0\u00a0
Rule Book should be posted early February – I encourage you to print a copy and read the rules especially to the events you participate in.\u00a0 If any questions call the office or your director.

1.\u00a0 Dress code will be enforced per the rule book in the performance and slack.
<\/em><\/strong>2.\u00a0 Fines for the following:\u00a0 Hat fines $10, <\/em><\/strong>Late fees<\/em> $25.00, <\/em><\/strong>Turn out\/no shows <\/em>$50 fine plus entry fee, unless doctor\/vet excuse received in 7 day in the office (<\/em><\/strong>see rule book<\/em>).\u00a0 If fees are collected prior to start of rodeo, money will go to the prize money in that event and no fine is due.\u00a0 No rodeo count unless competed.
3.\u00a0 No PAYOUT to be made until the rodeo is over or at secretary’s discretion.
4.\u00a0 Stock for the timed events is not allowed to leave the rodeo grounds once drawn.\u00a0 The exception is when there is no place to leave the stock secure or if that stock will not be used for the next rodeo draw.
5.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Fees must be paid prior to participation.\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>If you choose to contest before <\/em>you pay your fees<\/em> you will receive a fine from the Board.\u00a0\u00a0
6.\u00a0 If header misses in the team roping it is a $50 fine if the heeler catches the steer.
<\/em><\/strong>7.\u00a0 If for any event, stock that has been previously drawn for in a performance, is unaccounted for at the next draw, a $50 per missing stock will be fined to the stock contractor.

9.\u00a0 ** Drag in barrel rule states must drag or rake after ten contestants.\u00a0 Rule F page 29. (R<\/strong>ule is backed up by WPRA rules at 10 or 12 contestants)\u00a0 <\/strong>Does not mean an evenly drag cannot occur at contractor\/producer’s direction.\u00a0 If deemed unsafe a drag can occur.
